Sarah Withers Sarah Withers - Chairperson is an Extended Scope Physiotherapist and Team Leader of a primary care based musculoskeletal referral and management service in Sheffield.

Her interest in orthopaedic medicine began in 1990 gaining the SOM diploma in Orhtopaedic Medicine in 1993 and the Diploma in Injection Therapy in 1998. Sarah has an interest in effective practice and completed an M.Sc. Research for the Remedial Professions in 1995 and a Post Graduate Diploma in First Contact Care in 2006.
Frances West Frances West - Vice Chairperson Frances works in Private practice in Wilmslow, Cheshire, where her case load is musculoskeletal. She gained her diploma in injection therapy in 1997 and now holds weekly injection clinics for 2 local GP practices.

Recently she has been teaching with Willie Fourie on the Connective Tissue courses and is now encorporating new ideas in connective tissue with her traditional orthopaedic medicine background.
Judith Dawson Judith Dawson - Treasurer The new ACPOMIT Treasurer, Judith qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1988 and has specialised in musculoskeletal work since 1992.She continues to work in the NHS as an Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Practitioner and since gaining the Diploma in Injection Therapy in 2002 has a lead role in the PCT Injection service. She concurrently runs her own Private Practice in Bromley Cross, Bolton and is an Associate Lecturer visiting students on clinical placement from Manchester Metropolitain University.
Sue Lachlan Sue Lachlan - Secretary, works as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist in a primary care based musculoskeletal referral and management service. She gained her Diploma in injection therapy in 2003 and works with a dynamic team with weekly opportunities to use the skill. Her interest in Orthopaedic medicine began while working in London where she trained and taught as a Physiotherapy lecturer on the Hons Degree course before moving around the country working both privately and for the NHS.
Byron Clithero Byron Clithero - Diversity Officer Is the Clinic Director of Metro Physio a Private Physiotherapy Company with six practices covering the Greater Manchester. He qualified in 1992 and as a student was lucky enough to have a placement with Christine Mallion a Lecturer in Orthopaedic Medicine which inspired his passion for this approach. He regularly updates his knowledge in this field and gained the Diploma in Injection therapy in 2003.

He also teaches Gymnastics to International level and was responsible for producing Great Britain's first ever European Champion.
Billy Fashanu - Consultant Physiotherapist – General Musculoskeleta - Public Relations Officer, with a Job remit of clinical lead in upper and lower limbs Rehabilitation, at Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in Essex.

Interest and training in Cyriax orthopaedic medicine started in 1989 and completed all modules by 1992. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Physiology, and an MSc in Physiotherapy research, before obtaining his ACPOMIT diploma in injection therapy in May 2001.

Billy has a keen interest in musculoskeletal medicine and leads on audit, and research as part of his present job. He is currently undertaking a PhD research degree and was appointed as PRO for ACPOMIT in May 2006.

Gillian Lawrenson Gillian Lawrenson - CIG Representitive currently working at Hope Hospital, Salford as an orthopaedic extended scope practitioner specialising in the lower limb, Gillian gained her orthopaedic medicine mebership in 1999 as part of an MSc at leeds Metropolitan University and completed the injection diploma in 2003. She set up a physio led injection clinic within the orthopaedic dept and regularly use injection skills within her clinic

Gillian also works as a part-time senior lecturer in physiotherapy at the University of Central Lancashire where she is involved in undergraduate education and the development of a multi professional supplementary prescribing course.
   
Siobhan Taylor Siobhan Taylor - CPD Officer Siobhan gained her orthopaedic medicine diploma in 2003 and qualified as an injection therapist in 2005. She holds a Masters degree in Health Sciences and published work relating to telephone triage. She set up and evaluated a pilot musculoskeletal triage service within primary care which led to the current triage clinics in which she works as an Extended Scope Practitioner. She also manages outpatient physiotherapy services across Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale.
